In winter, the Gastlosen are the stage for a surprising spectacle.
The Grossmutterloch, literally grandmother's hole, allows sunlight to pass through a crack in the rock, resembling a fireball. According to legend, this cavity that runs through the Gastlosen was created by the devil. Angered at his grandmother, he propels her through the mountain wall. With Véronique Borcard-Pury, a mountain guide, you will embark on the trail of the solar body. As with any natural phenomenon, numerous parameters come into play. Luck will need to be on your side, and nothing is guaranteed, except for a magnificent hike!
