Near the centre of Bulle, the ski area of La Chia is located between 1000 and 1300m high.
This ski resort provides two slopes connected with one mountain cableway. It operates every week-end during the season, and also during school holidays of the Fribourg canton. Those slopes are accessible to everyone which makes it the perfect ski resort for schools and groups. Besides, some parking lots are directly located near the facilities.
Come and enjoy extensive views of snowy mountains as you trek on the many snowshoes paths of La Chia. They are well signposted, so you can plan where you want to go and have a thoroughly good time. Leading off from the refreshment area called "Les Amis de la Chia", a number of very varied panoramic paths make La Chia one of the very special places of the Pre-Alpes.
