To celebrate Saint Nicholas Day, La Gruyère Tourism and L'Appel du Manoir invite families to enjoy a warm and festive day in the town of Gruyères.
DAY PROGRAM
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Children's Bingo
Maison du Gruyère, Pringy
A special bingo event designed for children, with plenty of prizes to win.
At the end, Saint Nicholas and Père Fouettard will greet participants with a delicious biscôme. The Flonflons will play festive melodies to enchant both young and old.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Winter Treasure Hunt in the Medieval Town of Gruyères
Starting point: Parc du Clos aux Cerfs, Medieval Town
Embark on a family treasure hunt with two routes tailored to different age groups:

For toddlers (0-3 years old): a simplified and playful itinerary.

For older children (4-12 years old): a route featuring puzzles to solve.
Every participant will receive a small gift!
5:30 PM - Appearance of Saint Nicholas and Père Fouettard
Accompanied by the Flonflons, they will stroll through the streets to greet families and hand out mandarins.
To reach Gruyères, we recommend using public transportation:
By train, via the S50 and S51 lines, stop 'Gruyères, gare.'
By bus, via the 260 line, stop 'Gruyères, ville' (possibility to take the bus at 3:37 PM at Gruyères train station to go to the gift hunt).
