Mathilde Gremaud (born 8 February 2000) is a Swiss freestyle skier who competes internationally. She participated at the 2018 Winter Olympics and took the silver medal in women's slopestyle. She also won a bronze and a gold medals at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Pékin. She won the world slopstyle title in February 2023.
La Gruyère is proud to call Mathilde Gremaud their ambassador. The young woman from La Roche, situated at the foot of La Berra station, is a big fan of her home region. She learned how to ski on these local slopes, to then became one of the world’s best athletes in her discipline, freestyle skiing. In the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang (South Korea) Mathilde won a silver medal. She also participated at the 2022 Olympic Games in Pékin and won a bronze and a silver medal.
She also likes to go mountain-biking on the new downhill slopes in La Berra, to go hiking in the mountains of La Gruyère, to climp the via ferrata of Moléson or to go swimming in the Lake of La Gruyère. Follow her on social media and enjoy many adventures with her!
