Scattered across the country are chalets that tell the tale of life in the high pastures and the production of cheese. Come and explore the unique cultural scene of these idyllic surroundings.
The “Musées en Gruyère", no distance at all from Montreux, Berne and Lausanne, have a wide range of collections on show (furniture, stained glass, music and choral art, photography, painting, wallpaper and cut-outs, history of the area), along with exciting things to explore (cheese-making, multimedia events, trips in a balloon, fantasy art, science fiction), temporary exhibitions, visits with commentaries, demonstrations and concerts.
